This home is close to the ski area so one could walk to the lifts in a short amount of time. This home is currently listed at $649,000.
In our professional opinion this home is over priced. It is possible that someone may want to buy this old home and continue to live in it in its current state. There is deferred maintenance and being built in 1965, we can be sure that most items will not be up to code. We think this home would best suit someone who is looking for a lot to build on that is close to the ski area. Buying this home as a future building spot would allow the buyer to get a building lot with a home loan at a great rate. With two homes in Squaw Valley selling this year in the $400k range that have greater square footage with more bedrooms, our recommendation to buyers would be offering a price less than asking.
