Squaw Valley’s most recent single family home real estate listing is located in the desirable west end of Squaw Valley. Nestled amongst an aspen grove with a meandering seasonal creek on the sunny uphill side of the street, this home offers views of the Squaw Valley ski area. This Henrik Bull designed home was featured in Sunset magazine in 1958. Best of all, this Squaw Valley home allows the owners to walk to the Squaw Valley ski area. Located at 1620 Lanny Lane, this home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is 2340 sq ft. It is listed at $589,000.
In our professional opinion this home needs some serious work. There is a lot of deferred maintenance and many items may not be to code. This home is one of the first built homes in Squaw Valley, built in 1955. We think this home would best suit someone who is looking for a lot to build on that is close to the ski area. We would not recommend to our buyers to build around a home with such “old bones”.
